Why can't I update my profile or post? Why won't it "take"?
This is a rare problem, and may be caused by extra software on your computer such as "Norton Internet Security" or other firewall-type programs.

If you think your computer has Norton Internet Security running, the following document will direct you in solving the problem:

When I go to a page, why doesn't it show the latest information?
If your pages do not seem to be updating and showing the latest information, or if you seem to make a post and it doesn’t show up, there are several things you should look at. Your cache settings or your cookie settings may need to be changed.

Your browser saves (caches) a copy of the page on your hard drive to make it load more quickly the next time you come to it. There are settings that tell it how often to update it and how often to simply use the stored copy. Your browser may be set to keep using the old copy. To check / change the settings:

Changing cache settings

Emptying your cache

Changing cookie settings

Deleting cookies or files manually
